Section 417.433 - Treatment Planning(A) The multidisciplinary team described in 130 CMR 417.431(A) must prescribe a plan of therapeutic activities and treatment designed to improve or maintain the participant's ability to function independently. This plan must be developed with and agreed to verbally or in writing by the participant. The multidisciplinary team must develop the plan after the member has completed ten visits to the program or by the end of the first month of attendance, whichever occurs first.(B) The treatment plan must be goal oriented and time-limited with a focus on the principles of rehabilitation and recovery, and time frames must be established for the attainment of short-and long-term behavioral goals.(C) All elements of the treatment plan must be documented in the medical record, as set forth in 130 CMR 417.437.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1383, eff. 1/25/2019.
