Section 417.421 - Staffing Requirements(A)Minimum Staffing Requirements. A psychiatric day treatment program must provide an adequate number of qualified personnel to fulfill the program's objective.(B)Composition of the Treatment Team. The treatment team must contain multi-disciplinary staff available as appropriate for the needs of the participants. The treatment team must be comprised of mental health professionals who meet the requirements set forth under 105 CMR 140.530(C) or expressive therapy or allied health. The treatment team may also include other related mental health professionals necessary for the provision of intake, evaluation, diagnostic and treatment services.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1383, eff. 1/25/2019.
