Section 910.004 - Application(A)105 CMR 910.000 is applicable to any research institution which applies for a license pursuant to M.G.L. c. 140, § 174D. Any such institution shall meet all of the requirements of 105 CMR 910.000.(B) Any research institution using dogs and cats in research on the effective date of 105 CMR 910.000 which does not meet the standards and criteria of the regulations shall have up to 180 days from the effective date hereof to come into compliance. If at the end of 180 days, a research institution is still not in compliance with 105 CMR 910.000 it may apply to the Commissioner in writing for an extension of time to come into compliance, stating the reasons for such an extension. Upon receiving such request, the Commissioner may further extend the time for compliance for a period not to exceed an additional 60 days.
