Section 140.351 - Contracting for Outside Clinical Laboratory Services(A) A clinic may enter into a written contract for the provision of all or part of its clinical laboratory services with a laboratory independent of the clinic that is licensed, approved or certified by the appropriate federal or state agencies.(B) The clinic must have detailed written statements of policy on procedures for the collection, transport, and handling of specimens referred to such an outside laboratory.
