Section 120.816 - Facility Institutional Control(A) The design of any facility accepting waste for disposal shall be based on the assumption that the period of active institutional controls shall not exceed 100 years.(B) The actual institutional control period shall not be less than the minimum time required for any waste present at the site to decay to the maximum concentrations above natural background levels permitted to be released into air or water in unrestricted areas under federal and state law.
