Section 120.539 - Surveys for Ambient Radiation Dose Rate and Contamination(A) In addition to the surveys required by 105 CMR 120.200, a licensee shall survey with a radiation detection survey instrument at the end of each day of use all areas where unsealed radioactive material requiring a written directive was prepared for use or administered.(B) A licensee does not need to perform the surveys required in 105 CMR 120.539(A) in area(s) where patients or human research subjects are confined when they can not be released pursuant to 105 CMR 120.540.(C) A licensee shall retain a record of each survey in accordance with 105 CMR 120.590(J).Amended by Mass Register Issue 1480, eff. 10/14/2022.
