(a) The executive secretary may designate member(s) of the Board staff to assist in performing the executive secretary's functions with respect to continuances, extensions and shortening of time.(b) The failure of a moving party to cooperate with the executive secretary or a representative of the executive secretary or the assigned administrative law judge in determining whether circumstances exist warranting a continuance or extension of time will be grounds for denial of the motion.(c) False or misleading statements in motions or in contacts with the executive secretary, or a representative of the executive secretary, or the assigned administrative law judge, in connection with a continuance, extension, or a request to shorten time may subject a party to adverse action under section 20800.Cal.
