Section 5545 - Smoke Detector Certification Requirements(a) When an application is submitted to the department to transfer ownership, as the result of a sale of a used manufactured home, mobilehome, or multi-unit manufactured housing, the application shall include the following: (1) A statement signed under penalty of perjury, which contains the following information: (A) The unit identifying information and(B) A statement certifying that the manufactured home, mobilehome, or multi-unit manufactured housing, is equipped with an operable smoke detector on the date of transfer of title.Cal.
