Section 100076.06 - [Operative 1/1/2025] Advanced EMT Quality Improvement Program(a) The LEMSA shall establish a system-wide quality improvement program (EMSQIP) as defined in Section 100075.05 of this Chapter.(b) Each Advanced EMT service provider, as defined in Section 100079.01 and each Advanced EMT base hospital as defined in Section 100079.02, of this Chapter, shall have an EMSQIP approved by the LEMSA.(c) If, through the EMSQIP, the employer or medical director of the LEMSA determines that an Advanced EMT needs additional training, observation or testing, the employer and the medical director may create a specific and targeted program of remediation based upon the identified need of the Advanced EMT related to medical and patient care. If there is disagreement between the employer and the medical director, the decision of the medical director shall prevail.Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 100076.06
