The initial training requirements specified in Section 100027.01 of this Chapter shall be satisfactorily completed within one (1) year from the effective date of the individual's initial employment and, whenever possible, prior to assumption of regular duty in one of the personnel categories set forth in Section 100026.01 of this Chapter.
