Section 627.2 - General Provisions(a) All eligibility requirements contained in this article shall be applied without regard to the race, creed, color, gender, religion, or national origin of the person submitting an application.(b) Nothing in this article shall be construed as withdrawing eligibility for:(1) necessary treatment of an emergency medical condition; and(2) the testing and treatment of symptoms of a communicable disease.Cal. 1. New section filed 3-24-98 as an emergency; operative 3-24-98 (Register 98, No. 13). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 7-22-98 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
