Section 474.1 - Request for Qualifications(a) Where a project requires professional engineering or land surveying services the Executive Officer shall make a statewide request for qualifications through the publications of the respective professional societies and in other appropriate publications.(b) The request for qualifications shall contain the following information: the nature of the work, the criteria upon which the award shall be made, the name of the contact person, the address to send statements of qualifications and performance data, and the deadline by which the statements must be received.(c) The Executive Officer shall provide a copy of each request for qualifications to all small businesses who have indicated an interest in receiving the request. A failure of the Executive Officer to send a copy of a request for qualifications to any person shall not operate to preclude any contract.Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 16, § 474.1
