Section 1663 - Private Services(a) The services of private environmental, architectural, engineering, or construction project management consulting firms must be procured by the Director pursuant to these regulations only if they would lead to, or result in, services for the approval of a project as defined in Section 21065 Public Resources Code.(b) Such services shall be secured on the basis of demonstrated competence and on the professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the services required, pursuant to Section 4526 Government Code.Cal.
