(a) The license renewal fee for a licensed pawnbroker or a secondhand dealer is $300.00.(b) The license renewal fee shall be paid by check or money order payable to California Department of Justice and submitted to the licensing authority.(c) The license term is two years from the date of issue. If not renewed, the license is expired the calendar day following the end of the license term.(d) License renewal fees must be received by the Department prior to the end of the license term. Thereafter, license renewal fees are delinquent.(e) Access to CAPSS shall be denied whenever license renewal fees are delinquent for 60 calendar days beyond the expiration date of the license.Cal.
