Section 2218.83 - Review by the Commissioner

No later than six months following the date this article is adopted, a health insurer that maintains prescription drug formularies shall submit all prescription drug formularies for health insurance products in which it has covered lives enrolled in the state of California to the commissioner for review for compliance with this article. Following review, a health insurer shall not implement any provisions in its prescription drug formularies that the commissioner has determined are inconsistent with this article or other applicable law.
