Section R2-7-503 - Procurement of Construction Using Alternate Project Delivery Method

The agency chief procurement officer may use an alternate project delivery method if it is in the best interest of the state pursuant to A.R.S. §§ 41-2578 and 41-2579, based on the following factors:

1. Cost and cost control method,
2. Value engineering,
3. Market conditions,
4. Schedule,
5. Required specialized expertise,
6. Technical complexity of the project, or
7. Project management.

Adopted as an emergency effective January 1, 1985, pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1003, valid for only 90 days (Supp. 84-6). Emergency expired. Permanent rule adopted effective April 3, 1985 (Supp. 85-2).
