Section 8 AAC 86.120 - Required match for technical and vocational education grants(a) To qualify to receive a grant under AS 23.15.840, an applicant must demonstrate that, for each dollar of grant funds received, the applicant can provide a matching dollar in funds or in-kind funds.(b) To provide the match required in (a) of this section, an applicant may include funds that consist of fees, contributions, donations, gifts of money, federal funds, local funds, and special user charges.(c) Matching funds may not include state funds, including funds received through legislative appropriations and grant awards.(d) In-kind funds must be valued at the current market value of the service or material in the location in which it is provided.Eff. 4/18/2002, Register 162Authority:AS 23.15.820
