Section 8 AAC 57.160 - Amicus brief(a) A non-party may request permission to file an amicus brief by filing a motion.(b) On a motion under (a) of this section, the non-party shall identify its interest in the appeal and state the reasons why an amicus brief is desirable.(c) Not later than 10 days after the date shown in the certificate of service, unless served by mail, of a motion under (a) of this section, any party may file an opposition to the motion.(d) The chair will decide a motion under (a) of this section.
