Section 7 AAC 58.010 - Purpose

The purpose of the Citizen Review Panel is to

(1) examine, under AS 47.14.215, the department's child protection policies, procedures, and practices; and

(2) facilitate public participation, under AS 47.14.245, in

(A) obtaining comments on current department procedures and practices involving children and family services; and

(B) developing recommendations under AS 47.14.255 for the improvement of child protection services in the state.
