Section 7 AAC 56.230 - Level I child placing worker qualifications(a) An agency shall ensure level I child placing workers at least meet one of the following qualifications:(1) a bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university;(2) 60 semester hours of college credit or an associate degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and one year of supervised child placing experience;(3) a high school diploma or general educational development diploma and three years of supervised child placing experience;(4) a high school diploma or general equivalency degree and direct supervision from a person meeting one of the above qualifications.(b) Child placement decisions made by a worker who does not meet level II qualifications as specified in 7 AAC 56.220 must be approved by a level II child placing worker.(c) A child placing worker must be an individual who is at least 21 years old.Eff. 1/1/2001, Register 156Authority:AS 44.29.020
