Section 5 AAC 34.150 - Closed waters in Registration Area A(a) The following waters of Section 11-A are closed to the taking of red king crab: (1) the waters north of a line from Marmion Island Light to the easternmost tip of Point Salisbury at 58º 12.50' N. lat., 134º 13.75' W. long., and enclosed by a line from Outer Point on Douglas Island at 58º 18.20' N. lat., 134º 41.30' W. long., across Stephens Passage to the mouth of Bear Creek on Admiralty Island at 58º 16.80' N. lat., 134º 46.50' W. long., along the shoreline of Admiralty Island in a northerly direction to Symonds Point at 58º 20.60' N. lat., 134º 50.20' W. long., across Saginaw Channel to the southeasternmost tip of Shelter Island at 58º 22.30' N. lat., 134º 48.60' W. long., along the shoreline of Shelter Island to the southernmost tip of Halibut Cove at 58º 27.70' N. lat., 134º 53.30' W. long., across Favorite Channel to the southernmost entrance of Amalga Harbor at 58º 29.30' N. lat., 134º 47.30' W. long.; and(2) the waters of Barlow Cove south of the latitude of Barlow Point at 58º 22.80' N. lat., 134º 53.70' W. long.(b) The following waters of Section 11-A are closed to the taking of golden king crab: the waters north of a line from Marmion Island Light to the easternmost tip of Point Salisbury at 58º 12.50' N. lat., 134º 13.75' W. long., and east of a line extending from the northernmost tip of Outer Point at 58º 18.20' N. lat., 134º 41.30' W. long., to the southernmost tip of Portland Island at 58º 19.74' N. lat., 134º 44.04' W. long., to the northernmost tip of Portland Island at 58º 21.12' N. lat., 134º 45.48' W. long., to the southernmost tip of Point Louisa at 58º 22.26' N. lat., 134º 43.50' W. long.In effect before 1986; am 12/14/86, Register 100; am 7/1/96, Register 138; am 11/6/96, Register 140; am 8/14/2005, Register 175; am 5/12/2011, Register 198
