Section 5 AAC 32.230 - Identification of gear for Registration Area EIn the taking of Dungeness crab,
(1) all floats and buoys fished under a single registration number must be identically marked, and the colors and design used must be registered with the department before fishing commences;(2) when fishing for or taking crab, no individual or vessel may operate or assist in operating crab pots with buoys of more than one color design registered with the department or more than one legal limit of gear in the aggregate.
