Section 5 AAC 01.416 - Customary and traditional subsistence uses of fish stocks and amounts necessary for subsistence uses(a) The Alaska Board of Fisheries (board) finds that halibut and all other finfish in the Alaska Peninsula Area are customarily and traditionally taken or used for subsistence.(b) The board finds that (1) 34,000 - 56,000 salmon are reasonably necessary for subsistence uses in the Alaska Peninsula Area;(2) 47,000 - 79,000 pounds of finfish other than salmon are reasonably necessary for subsistence uses in the Alaska Peninsula Area.Eff. 5/15/93, Register 126; am 5/31/98, Register 146; am 6/4/2004, Register 170Authority:AS 16.05.251
