Section 3 AAC 53.230 - Discontinuance, suspension, or abandonment of service(a) A local exchange carrier may discontinue, suspend, or abandon a local exchange telephone service at a location with commission approval under AS 42.05.261.(b) A local exchange carrier proposing to discontinue, suspend, or abandon service under (a) of this section must file a plan for the transfer of its customers to another carrier.
