Section 18 AAC 64.015 - Minimum standards(a) Litter receptacles placed in compliance with this chapter must (1) hold at least 10 gallons;(2) keep their original shape when placed outdoors;(3) resist rust, corrosion, and other degradation;(4) conform with fire, safety, and public health laws, ordinances, and regulations;(5) reasonably resist movement and destruction by vandals, winds, and animals;(6) prevent blowing of litter from the receptacle; and(7) attract attention and encourage the deposit of litter.(b) Litter receptacles in place before July 1, 1980, satisfy the requirements of this section if the anti-litter decal described in 18 AAC 64.020 appears on the receptacle.Eff. 10/2/83, Register 87Authority:AS 46.03.020(10)
