Section 13 AAC 67.200 - Reassignment of process and returns to court(a) A process server may not reassign process to another process server unless that person is within the process server's own firm. Process that the process server cannot serve because of a conflict of interest or because of location must be returned to the clerk of the court for reassignment to another process server. If process is returned to the clerk of the court within 48 hours, no return of service is required.(b) A process server who conducts a sale of personal or real property as a part of serving process shall transmit all money received to the court and may not withhold process server fees.(c) When serving a levy for the collection of money on a third party, the process server shall serve the third party with a Notice of Levy By a Court Writ and advise the third party that all checks must be made payable to the clerk of court.Eff. 11/11/92, Register 124Authority:AS 22.20.100
