Section 13 AAC 55.130 - Modifications(a) The state fire marshal may modify requirements of 13 AAC 50 - 13 AAC 55 during the plan review process if there are practical difficulties which make strict compliance with those requirements impractical. Modifications may be granted only when the intent of those requirements as provided in 13 AAC 55.010 is met. Applications for modifications must be made on forms provided by the state fire marshal. An application must include reasons why the regulatory provisions cannot be met and how the alternative methods will meet the intent of 13 AAC 50 - 13 AAC 55 as provided in 13 AAC 55.010.
