STEVEN FLOYD VOSS, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondent.
ORDER OF AFFIRMANCE
Steven Floyd Voss appeals from an order of the district court denying an amended motion for new trial filed on May 8, 2020. Second Judicial District Court, Washoe County; Kathleen M. Drakulich, Judge.
In his motion, Voss claimed he was entitled to a new trial because the State committed a fraud upon the court when it introduced evidence at trial that was illegally seized. The district court found that Voss's motion was filed more than 7 days after the verdict and did not allege any new evidence. These findings are supported by the record on appeal. Because there are no exceptions to the time limitations for filing a motion for new trial, see NRS 176.515(3), (4), we conclude the district court did not abuse its discretion by denying the petition. See Depasquale v. State, 106 Nev. 843, 851, 803 P.2d 218, 223 (1990). Accordingly, we
Voss filed the motion more than 23 years after his verdicts were returned on October 10, 1996.
ORDER the judgment of the district court AFFIRMED.
