CARRIERS, § 726question of negligent operation of street car as for jury. In 48-year-old woman passenger's action for injuries allegedly caused when passenger fell as defendant's street car stopped suddenly while passenger was standing on iron step in front of door in anticipation of alighting from car, whether car was being operated in a negligent manner was for jury.

Appeal from the Superior Court of Cook County; the Hon. JAMES McDERMOTT, Judge, presiding.

Judgment affirmed. Heard in the first division, first district, this court at the February term, 1949.
