PLEADING, § 222court's power to permit amendment to answer. Trial court held fully empowered by statute, notwithstanding objection by plaintiff, to grant leave to defendant, sued by plaintiff for services as attorney, to file amended answer (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1943, ch. 110, par. 170; Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 104.046).

Appeal from the County Court of Peoria county; the Hon. FRANCIS C. VONACHEN, Judge, presiding.
