ORDER
Pursuant to Tex.R.App.P. 10.4 (a) the motion ruled on through this Order may have been decided by a single Justice sitting on the panel.
Appellants TAC Total Automation, INC., TAC Insumos Industriales, S.D.R.L. De C.V., Carlos Pablo Lara Elias, and Luis Ernesto Martinez Ontiveros recently filed an accelerated, interlocutory appeal from the trial court's June 13, 2024 order denying their motion to compel arbitration and stay proceedings. Pending before the Court is Appellants' motion for emergency stay, which asks this Court to stay the underlying proceedings pending the resolution of this appeal.
Because this Court needs sufficient time to review the merits of Appellants' emergency motion, we issue a temporary administrative stay, effective immediately. See Tex. R. App. P. 29.6 (permitting the review of interlocutory orders entered while an interlocutory appeal is pending).
The temporary administrative stay is limited in time; enforcement of the June 13 order is stayed only until further order of this Court, which shall issue after this Court has had sufficient time to review the merits of Appellants' emergency motion and any response filed by the Appellees.
Furthermore, this Court ORDERS Appellees MSC Industrial Supply, S. De R.L. De C.V. and MSC Import Export LLC to file a response to Appellants' emergency motion to stay. The response is due to be filed on or before June 28, 2024.
