NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS, § 339 — forged indorsement, evidence. Evidence supported judgment that payee's indorsement was forged on a check and was cashed by defendant for an agent of plaintiffs who had no authority to make the indorsement, plaintiff's firm having been employed to effect a tax reduction through solicitation of business by such agent.
