CONVERSION, § 43when evidence discloses conversion. Where plaintiff brought action for alleged conversion of personal property, and it appeared that plaintiff sold to defendants all furnishings in hotel building and plaintiff removed her personal possessions to basement storeroom, all of which had been inventoried, and when demand was made upon defendant for delivery of such property, all that was offered plaintiff was pile of rubbish, although plaintiff's furniture was still in defendants' possession, held that evidence showed that plaintiff's claim was meritorious.

Appeal from the Municipal Court of Chicago; the Hon. JACOB M. BRAUDE, Judge, presiding.

Judgment reversed and judgment here. Heard in the second division, first district, this court at the April term, 1945.
