Judgment reversed on the law and case remanded to Supreme Court, New York County, for resentencing in accordance herewith. The two crimes for which defendant was sentenced were part of a single transaction. Therefore, the maximum total of the two definite consecutive sentences cannot exceed one year. (Penal Law, § 70.25, subd. 3; People v. Nelson, 32 A.D.2d 952; People v. Guy, 33 A.D.2d 806.)
