APPEAL AND ERROR, § 1844reversal, failure to follow appeal. Where the people of the State of Illinois filed an action for an accounting against sureties of a county collector, and subsequently a settlement was entered into by 116 of the 118 taxing bodies involved, accepting agreed payments from the sureties, but the other two taxing bodies filed an intervening petition and were allowed certain sums below, but did not follow the appeal and the sole appellee confessed that the decree should be reversed, such facts showed no further desire by any one to engage in this litigation, and decree was therefore reversed.
