Andrew C. Alfrey appeals the order denying his petition for resentencing under Penal Code section 1170.18, which was enacted as part of Proposition 47. In December 2011, appellant pled no contest to assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury (§ 245, subd. (a)(1)) and dissuading a witness (§ 136, subd. (b)(1)). The trial court sentenced him to two years in state prison. In July 2015, appellant petitioned to have his conviction for dissuading a witness reclassified as a misdemeanor. The court found that appellant's crime was not among those eligible for resentencing and denied the petition.

We appointed counsel to represent appellant in this appeal. After counsel's examination of the record, he filed an opening brief in which no issues were raised.
On January 4, 2016, we advised appellant that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues he wished us to consider. Appellant did not respond.
We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that appellant's attorney has fully complied with his responsibilities and that no arguable issues exist. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 443; People v. Kelly ( 2006) 40 Cal.4th 106, 126.)
The order denying appellant's petition for resentencing is affirmed.
