No. 05-07-01506-CV (Tex. App. Jul. 21, 2008)

Opinion

No. 05-07-01506-CV

Opinion issued July 21, 2008.

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 1, Dallas County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. 07-11435-A.

Before Chief Justice THOMAS and Justices BRIDGES and FITZGERALD.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant's brief was due on May 22, 2008. On June 4, 2008, the Court attempted to inform appellant the time for filing her brief had expired and to direct appellant to file, within ten days, both her brief and an extension motion that complied with Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure 10.1(a) and 10.5(b). This letter, along with other correspondence from the Court to appellant since January 14, 2008, was returned to the Court with a note that it could not be delivered and appellant had provided no forwarding address.

Appellant has failed to provide this Court with a current address, to communicate with this Court regarding her desire to prosecute this appeal, or to timely file her brief. Accordingly, we DISMISS this appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1).
