AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 216negligence causing death of child question of fact. In action for death of five-year-old boy who was struck by defendants' truck when he was in middle of street, whether defendants were negligent and whether boy's mother was negligent were for jury under evidence that mother had permitted boy and his seven-year-old brother to go down street unattended while mother momentarily returned to a friend's apartment and that no horn had been sounded and no steps taken to stop truck until after impact.

Appeal from the Superior Court of Cook county; the Hon. FRANCIS B. ALLEGRETTI, Judge, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in the first division, first district, this court at the October term, 1947.
