AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 85.3 — injury to pedestrian as unavoidable, directed verdict. Where another car struck defendant's car, causing the latter to go out of control, and it struck and injured a pedestrian on a public sidewalk, the cause of the accident was entirely beyond the control of the defendant and a directed verdict for defendant at close of plaintiff's evidence was proper.
