ROYCE JACKMAN, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, State.

Appeal from the 168 District Court of El Paso County, Texas (TC# 20120D01661)

ORDER

The reporter's record in the above styled and numbered cause was originally due July 6, 2014. The Court has granted four extensions requested by the Court Reporter. The Court granted the last extension until November 9, 2014 as a final extension. The reporter's record has not been filed as of this date and the Clerk's Office has been unsuccessful in its efforts to contact the court reporter.

It is therefore ORDERED that the trial judge conduct a hearing to determine whether appellant has been deprived of a reporter's record for any reason, including ineffective assistance of counsel, and to make appropriate findings and recommendations, which may include appointment of new counsel. The record of such hearing, including any orders and findings of the trial judge, shall be certified and forwarded to this office on or before December 18, 2014.

IT IS SO ORDERED this 18 day of November, 2014.

PER CURIAM Before McClure, C.J., Rodriguez, and Hughes, JJ.
