Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2006CR5239, styled The State of Texas v. Juan Guzman Zuniga, pending in the 186th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Jefferson Moore presiding.

On March 27, 2017, Relator filed two motions with this Court: a motion requesting leave to file a motion for evidentiary hearing; and a motion requesting this court abate this mandamus proceeding and hold an evidentiary hearing. Relator is not required to file a motion for leave to file a motion; therefore, the motion for leave is DIMSISSED AS MOOT. Relator's motion seeking to abate the mandamus proceeding and hold an evidentiary hearing is DENIED.

It is so ORDERED on April 4, 2017.
