Original Mandamus Proceeding.

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2022CI18445, styled Blanca Padilla, A.K.A. Blanca Guadalupe Flores Carielo v. Sergio Padilla, A.K.A. Sergio Padilla Martinez, and Juan Espinoza, pending in the 37th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Tina Torres presiding.

Sitting: Rebeca C. Martinez, Chief Justice Beth Watkins, Justice Liza A. Rodriguez, Justice.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

On April 17, 2023, relator Sergio Padilla filed a petition for writ of mandamus and an emergency motion for stay. This court believes a serious question concerning the mandamus relief sought requires further consideration. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(b). The respondent and the real parties in interest may file a response to the petition in this court no later than May 3, 2023. Any such response must conform to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.4.

Relator's motion for stay is GRANTED. The trial in the underlying case is STAYED pending further order from this court.

It is so ORDERED.
