IN RE N.A.

Original Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2023-CI-23309, styled In the Interest of E.K.A.-K., pending in the 288th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Mary Lou Alvarez presiding.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

On February 29, 2024, relator filed a petition for a writ of mandamus and an emergency motion to stay proceedings in the trial court and to stay certain aspects of temporary orders signed on February 14, 2024 (the "Temporary Orders"). This court believes a serious question concerning the relief sought in the mandamus petition requires further consideration. See Tex.R.App.P. 52.8(b). The respondent and real party in interest, may file responses to the petition no later than April 12, 2024. Any such response must conform to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.4.

After considering the motion for emergency stay, this court concludes relator is not entitled to the relief sought. Relator's motion for emergency stay is DENIED.

It is so ORDERED on March 15, 2024.
