Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2006CR10110, styled State of Texas v. Richard Lares, pending in the 399th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Frank J. Castro presiding.

ORDER

Sitting: Karen Angelini, Justice Marialyn Barnard, Justice Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice

On May 11, 2017, Relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus, complaining the trial court has failed to rule on motions filed in December 2016 and April 2017. This court is of the opinion that a serious question concerning the mandamus relief sought requires further consideration. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(b). The respondent and the real parties in interest may file a response to the petition in this court no later than June 26, 2017. Any such response must conform to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.4.

It is so ORDERED on June 5, 2017.
