MEMORANDUM OPINION

Steven Wallace Hopkins, acting pro se, has filed a petition for writ of mandamus requesting that we compel the trial court to act upon a pre-trial application for writ of habeas corpus. We deny the petition.

The underlying case is The State of Texas v. Steven Wallace Hopkins, cause number 1518270, pending in the 174th District Court of Harris County, Texas.
