On Appeal from the County Court at Law Walker County, Texas
Trial Court No. 8991PR , Honorable Tracy M. Sorensen, Presiding
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before QUINN, C.J., and CAMPBELL and PIRTLE, JJ.
Appellants Eddie Williams and Gertie Alexander filed a notice of appeal on March 10, 2017. On May 10, 2017, the county clerk notified us by letter that appellants had not paid or made arrangements to pay for the clerk's record. See TEX. R. APP. P. 35.3(a)(2). By letter that day, we directed appellants to make payment arrangements acceptable to the county clerk by May 22. Failure to do so, we advised, would subject the appeal to dismissal for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 37.3(b).
This case was transferred from the Tenth Court of Appeals to our Court, under an order of the Supreme Court of Texas. See TEX. GOV'T CODE ANN. § 73.001 (West 2013); TEX. R. APP. P. 41.3 (precedent of transferor court).
To date, appellants have not made payment arrangements for the clerk's record or otherwise communicated with the Court. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution and failure to comply with requirements of the appellate rules and this Court's order. See TEX. R. APP. P. 37.3(b); 42.3(b), (c).
