IN RE Jonathan Ray DEPUE

Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2006CR10950B, styled State of Texas v. Jonathan Depue, pending in the 227th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Kevin M. O'Connell presiding.

ORDER

Sitting: Rebeca C. Martinez, Justice Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice Irene Rios, Justice

Relator filed this petition for writ of mandamus on April 11, 2017, complaining that the trial court had not ruled on a motion for appointment of counsel filed by Relator on April 6, 2015. Because the trial court has ruled on the motion, Relator's petition for writ of mandamus has been rendered moot. Accordingly, this original mandamus proceeding is DISMISSED AS MOOT

It is so ORDERED on April 24, 2017.

/s/_________

Irene Rios, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 24 day of April, 2017.

/s/_________

Keith E. Hottle, Clerk
