Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2016CI09461, styled Ex parte Peter Burton, pending in the 438th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Rosie Alvarado presiding.

ORDER

Sitting: Rebeca C. Martinez, Justice Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice Irene Rios, Justice

On May 1, 2017, Relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus. On May 19, 2017, this court granted Relator's motion requesting abatement pending a hearing on Relator's expunction petition, set for June 15, 2017. Relator has now filed a motion requesting this court lift the abatement and dismiss this mandamus proceeding.

Relator's motion to lift the abatement and dismiss this proceeding is GRANTED. The abatement is hereby LIFTED and this original mandamus proceeding is DISMISSED. The court's opinion will issue at a later date.

It is so ORDERED on June 26, 2017.
