CRYSTAL HENDREN, Appellant, v. GABRIEL LAZAR, Appellee.

Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 5 of El Paso County, Texas (TC# 2020DCV3449)

Before Rodriguez, C.J., Marion, C.J. (Ret.), and Alley, J.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

JEFF ALLEY, JUSTICE.

This is an appeal from an interlocutory order of a family law court that required Appellant, Crystal Hendren, to vacate a property she jointly owns with Appellee Gabriel Lazar. As explained in a companion appeal decided today, we conclude that this Court lacks jurisdiction to decide an appeal of the interlocutory order because it was issued under section 6.502 of the Texas Family Code, and not under the injunction provisions of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. See Hendren v. Lazar, No. 08-21-00141-CV (Tex.App.--El Paso January 11, 2022, no pet. h.). Without reference to the merits, we dismiss the appeal for want of jurisdiction. All pending motions are denied as moot.

Marion, C.J. (Ret.), sitting by assignment
