LANDLORD AND TENANT, § 332sufficiency of evidence to sustain verdict for plaintiff injured in descending stairway in defendant's building. In action against lessee and operator of building, used for light housekeeping and sleeping rooms, for injuries to plaintiff's back, etc., as result of alleged fall, claimed by plaintiff to have been caused by her tripping upon metal strip on stairway in building as she was descending such stairway after visiting friend who was tenant in building, held that verdict for plaintiff was not contrary to manifest weight of evidence.

Appeal from the Superior Court of Cook county; the Hon. FRANCIS B. ALLEGRETTI, Judge, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in the first division, first district, this court at the October term, 1943.
